I have not lurked for a while because I have been out of town for most of the past 2 weeks, and my business is very busy right now. Of course, I don't really lurk, I chime in when something interests me, or I think I actually have an answer.

I for one am lurking after a brief period of activity because I have no time to do much else. Haven't even hardly pulled out my coins to look at them in 5 months, but a new baby will do that to ya! I have no time to post intelligently before the next Good to see the ongoing discussions though!

I'm with you Secret Argent Man, my daughter is 5 1/2 months. Do most of my posting while I'm at work. Only chance I have to look at my coins is while she's eating or sleeping. She's started a nice collection already though. She comes with me to the once a month coin show I goto in my area and there's always a dealer I buy from that gives me something to put away for her for when she gets older. I hope she takes an interest in this hobby, she'll be getting the dansco's and whitman's I'm trying to fill as she grows up.

I just bought a 1879 SAF for 32.00, my question is, is the 8th feather between the olive branch & arrows? Actually counted 7.

As far as the lurking goes, I've learned allot on here from it. I'm sort of a hands on guy when it comes to learning so I'll read something on here and ask the dealers at the show and most times they'll have something for sale that pertains to what I read about on the site and be able to show me in person. That's how I learned what a Lincoln "woody" was.

Sorry rlcbj59 I'm in N.J. I found the only two shows in my area by searching coins on craigslist. Then when I found the first show they had a flier for the other show.
