Hello all -
Looking for help identifying the following coin. It appears the date is 1791. "GEORGE RULES" on the front and "BRITONS RULE" on the reverse. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

This is actually a token from Britain, not a coin. There were literally thousands of different ones made.
The George on the one side I believe is George Cordon. You may find a similar token here:

It is an "evasion" halfpenny, a token deliberately made to look similar to a genuine government-issued halfpenny (which has GEORGIUS III REX on one side and BRITANNIA on the other), but with different lettering so as to be technically not counterfeit. The maker of the token would be hoping that a hasty or illiterate person would accept it as genuine without noticing. The maker would also be hoping that the difference in legend would be enough to get him off the hook if he were arrested for counterfeiting.

Sorry for the delayed reply, but I've finally gotten around to looking this one up. It's listed as Atkins #141, as seen on this tokens page. Not one of the scarcer types, if I read it correctly.

Indeed, it is a British Evasion.

More specifically, Cobwright-204, Obverse G.0460, Reverse B.0960.
