Hoping someone can tell me about this coin, History & Value
It's a little larger than a quarter, pretty sure its not worth much but wanted to ask.. The gold chain that was on it was worth $350.00 so I thought maybe the coin was genuine..

It's a Carlos IV of Spain 2 Reales. The pictures are too small to find the mint mark, but there is a wide variation on value... Figure anywhere from $20 to about $100, figuring G-VG condition.

Potosi(Bolivia) Mint. Catalog at $12.50 in VG. Most likely damaged from the mount and worth more in the mount as a jewelry piece.

Mint mark is after Hispan et IndRex- it is a PTS monogram, with each letter on top of the earlier one- Limae (Lima, Peru) is done in the same way
