A Couple Foreign Coins To ID (Id: 1979 5 Mark East Germany Plus Vatican And Lufthansa Tokens)

This first coin is apparently from Vatican City, and looks/sounds like it might be silver. Would love a confirmation on that.

The Vatican and first German are just medals. The 1979 5 Mark coin is East German. Vatican medals can be made out of just about anything, but the Lufthansa piece probabally is just the cheapest placket they could find. And, for the East German... Be glad it's not made out of plastic. (I'm being a bit sarcastic there...). I was there for a few months in 1984, and it was not my favorite globetrotting experience. The former USSR was lots more fun....
