Would appreciate some help with this one as well. I'm very new to grading coins. I want see how my own opinion compares to those with more experience.

Though I do not consider myself an expert, I would call that about a F12. Anyone disagree?

I'll say VF-20 based solely on the PCGS photograder

I won this one for 26.50 on ebay. At F12 did I overpay a little?

Fair price - you did not overpay. How about F15?

I like it at F-15! Very nice eye appeal, you did well at that price.

Is this considered a problem coin with the scratches? Like the one going through the E in ONE, or is that normal for the grade? The seller described the coin as F-VF which seems on par with the grades you all assigned. It's a nice looking coin though for the condition. It has nice eye appeal and looks a little better in person. Thanks everyone for the help I really appreciate it.

I would grade it at F-12 because of the heavy wear on the feathers and just being able to see the corn detail. I think it's a nice looking coin! Good buy.

I don't see it as a problem coin. While this coin has quite a number of hits, it is not out of line for the grade.

I think it's a F15. I think you got a good buy on it.

Yes, it is the small letters variety. I'm happy with F12, the seller described it as fine condition. I felt like I got a good price just wanted to make sure.

Without looking at the other grade posted, I came up with f-15, although I was close to assigning it VF-20, just a little too much wear for my taste on the breast, leg and tail.
