Interesting...
"This product is only available to order by calling 1-800-267-1871 (Canada), 1-800-268-6468 (US) or (613) 954-2626 (International)."
Is this worth having to endure sales pitch from someone working on commissions? Tough decision.

^^^ I agree. Hopefully it is a sign the the RCM is at the limit and that it uses such tactics. Then the RCM may go back to producing a few well done coins - instead of everything for everyone. But, this is unlikely.

I hope this is because the web folks are too slow to update the info on their pages + all the glitches that occur when placing orders via the web... So few coins remain that maybe the Mint doesn't want to disappoint anyone.
Just a thought.
FYI - I never have a clean web order. Something always goes wrong, "already logged on" but I can't continue because I am prompted to log on... "Oops... Can't proceed with your order - but we are here to help." Page not found. Please wait................ But it eventually works.

I purchased one over a month and a half ago on line from the mint it came in record time and my # is very high 09150 / 10000 so they must be random picked? Still a very nice gold coin and still very affordable for all to collect I have all of them in this series and can't wait until the next one comes out. I also purchased the caribou gold coin very small but nice as well I wonder if they will keep it going through the years or is it a one year deal?

papeldog: I asked on here if the RCM randomly picks coins - I do think anyone knows this answer for sure. I also asked on here if the caribou gold coin was a one shot deal - again I do not think anyone knows the answer to this. Mints website says it it 99% sold out now. http://www.mint.ca/store/coin/125oz...Id=cat200020Cheers

Quote: asked on here if the RCM randomly picks coins - I do not think anyone knows this answer for sure I Personally would venture to say ...It's done randomly...About three weeks ago I received The Queen's Diamond Jubilee (2012 # 14834..Now if out of a mintage of 15000 I should have received a sell out alert by now... But I haven't....

I web ordered and it was shipped asap...I'm glad now that I did get it ...its quite nice...Didn't like the # I got but Hey..Do you think the 2nd coin will be a $10.00 and maybe A big Silver $50.00 for the 3rd..

Got mine last Friday #03080 / 10000 I didn't know the numbers were randomly shipped. (I just assumed they were sent out in numerical order.) You learn something new all the time.
