Happy Friday everyone! Got through another $50 bag of pennies last night and found this beauty! A 1960-d rpm#1! Only my second one ever! Happy dance time for me. Good luck with all of your searches! Chugly

Very nice find. The only thing better than that RPM I s a BU example. Does your coin have the die clash on the reverse?

Thanks guys! And yes, I would have loved for this to be a BU example, but I will take what I can get.
I see no evidence of a the die clash on either side of my coin. That would put it at fairly early die state I assume?

It could be earlier or later die state. The lines from polishing can flatten with time or reverse dies can be changed. I can remember when these were very rare to find. But now with the internet, knowledge of RPMs have made a lot more of these being found. I have a few extras of these that I received for taking images for someone. He at the time had a whole roll that he sold on ebay one at a time.

These are actually quite scarce. I have never found one in a BU roll, and understand from their lack of availability that they may be even more scarce than we thought at one time.
