My US coins received from Adam. Thank you so much for sending these Adam, they're awesome to own!!

Finally got round to typing up this list to show you all what I've recently acquired. I'll add other received US coins to this thread as well, as soon as I type them up, so folks can see what I have in my collection. I can't believe how quickly I've started accumulating. When someone sends you a roll or more of coins they sure accumulate and fill dates quickly!! Its nice to finally get to this level of being able to list and show you all. Also nice to see what I've actually got as I do this so I can know whats in my collection It will really be something when I'm ready to integrate my lists into another "one big one of all my coins" so I get to see all the dates at once ad know what dates I'm missing etc. How many people have "groups" of coins, not integrated, so they don't know what all they've got as far as dates and numbers of coins go?

I couldn't begin to make a list of what I have when it comes to extra's. I fill my albums, update them with better examples, and have literally thousands of duplicates, errors, varieties.I hope to have a nice estate sale some day...wish I could be there to see it [:0]

Same with me. Only I eventually move all the duplicates into an Album when they accumulate to the point of possibly filling one. Situations like that have me now with well over 100 Albums.

I have a very nice off center 1999!

Yes, DEFINATELY amazing to have so many US, especially the wheats and a few pre 1900's. WOW!

Will be adding lists of received US coins as I type them up and post in this thread including the ones you and any others that have sent me things. I'll scan some soon to show in here too ...

Right now I have to dash out to the store but will be back shortly. Just finished a time consuming job writing and printing out a lot of things for my Landlord and now thats behond me I can get to my coins again!!!!

Maineman, I can easily see how fast needing lots of albums can happen, and I'm only a couple or so months into active searching and collecting! I don't have any albums and probably won't have for a long time, but thats a nice goal to shoot for way down the road. I know nothing as yet about albums, though I'm still majorly kicking myself for passing up two blue covered Canadian penny albums with lots of pennies in them for $5 a piece at a second hand store a few months back. I'll always wonder what I passed up !

I was the beneficiary of a very generous member that got my Canadian collection kick started. And has since been enhanced by many other members who expect nothing in return.

Just trying to pass it forward.

psst - I have more that didn't make it in that last package, but don't tell Dottir - shhh.

Oh gawd!! Scooby you tricky thing you

I've also learned that there is a Christmas gift still stuck in the mail somewhere between the States and here, mailed Dec 17th, from xshift. Not arrived as yet!! I have no idea what her and her little one have put in that package but am suspecting a US coin or two Sure hope it gets here. How do you think its travelling to me? Dogsled? Pony Express? Voyajeur? Carrier pigeon? US Eagle then Canada Goose?

I'm blown away by all the US givens from you all, Adam, Renee, Scooby ... anyone else I'm forgetting? I don't think so, other than:

From my Canadian Step-cousin in Ontario, for Christmas along with many Canadians large and small cents, nickels including a 1943 Tombac, and a 1944 dime!:

US Wheaties:

1910
1919
1921
1929
1929 D
1944

I can't thank you all enough for making my collections sweet sweet sweet :) I'm going to love it when I send out my first batches of givens (yet to be put together) to get in on this pay it forward and back and forth game. This is a blast! You've all added a lot of fun and interest to my daily life by getting me more involved with you all and with helping growing collections.
