My first MAJOR coin show and it just happens to be F.U.N.! I don't know what to say, except . Nobody told me to bring paper towels. Coins as far as the eye can see. Stay tuned for a contest!

I always thought coin collectors were supposed to look all nerdy and stuff, these look like normal people?
seriously though it looks like a blast, I wish they had some large coin shows a little closer to me, elpaso is as close as they get and then it's nothing like this one.

Something like 600+ dealers?
Met a rep from the Australian Mint, Fred Weinberg, Charmy (aka The Penny Lady), Rick Snow, David Lawrence and I'm sure some others that I'm too overwhelmed to recall right now.

Keep in mind, I took pics from aisle 1200 and back. There were several more aisles behind me!

Did they organize coins by dates? I would love to have some US coins from 1100's!

It was awesome meeting you, too (and your little brother! )! Actually, CCF represented quite well! We met a few members today, didn't we? A couple more are supposed to show tomorrow! Can't wait!

I'm up in Wisconsin so Florida is a bit far, but it does look like a huge show. However, I am looking forward to the ANA Money Show in Chicago this coming August. I will definitely be there.

Oh My God! I am sooooo glad I am not there with you guys. I would be flat broke after a day at a show like that. Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun at the F.U.N. show, actually I wish I was there with you. My accountant would be doing back flips if I were..............

got a nice story to tell while I was there today... i got a BEAUTIFUL 1992 silver eagle toner, like, dark blue and purple, it was completely full on either side, I paid $50. can you guess what it was? AT i got a refund, luckily. but I also got a 1963 proof quarter for $7 which an ICG grader graded PR- 67-68. as well as some other small goodies.

FUN is the Big Kahuna. It's the one you do, if you only do one per year. I'm in good shape here - I have the Baltimore and Philly shows - but FUN is where it's truly at.

Quote: I always thought coin collectors were supposed to look all nerdy and stuff I haven't personally met more than two or three, but the way that most have described themselves to me through PMs and emails, I thought that the pictures above would show a lot of Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise types along with several guys in ninja suits with black belts.
