WOW! Outstanding 41-D Metalman! Surfaces look just a little splotchy...just a little, which might hold it back to 65. But if the luster is there, MS-66 RB.

First, Rick, you almost stopped my heart. When I Saw this on the topic list, I read it as 1914-D. When I opened the thread, I saw about the top half of the coin without scrolling down. Anyway, at first glance, it looked like WOW!!

Thad is spot on MS65 RB.

I'm with shafta9a on this one(64)-those dings on Mr.Lincolns head will knock it down a little-still a very nice coin!!

Thanks for the opinions, the luster on the coin is truely magnificent, I think it qualifies easily as a 65.

Does anyone know how hard it is to find a really nice raw 41-D? it took me three months to find this coin.
