Be careful. I started the same way and in the last 14 months I have 65'-2010'. Once you start it's hard to stop.

Be careful or you might fall into the next phase of the obsession... Cracking those proof sets for Dansco albums.

I don't think I'll to into proof sets for awhile. I'm getting in to Morgans right now. I went from pennies to nickels and now morgans.

Jbuck, one of them is also the year that I graduated highschool. Thats one of the reasons that I am working on a 1986 world coin and banknote set. http://omnicoin.com/collection/Johnny1328_1986sk8er722, also for those years the US mint put out prestige sets, and there pretty reasonable for both of those years. Here is mine for 1986.

For the record, the other set (1987) is my graduation year. Quote: ...also for those years the US mint put out prestige sets, and there pretty reasonable for both of those years. I have the 1988, 1990, and 1991 Prestige Proof Sets. Those and a duplicate 1969 (birth year) proof set are the only ones I have not cracked. The Prestige Sets were gifts from my mother, so they will always remain intact.

Ha ha jbuck and Johnny1328. I see my high school graduation date in there too!
I remember buying a set with some graduation money, only to receive three more as gifts later that week! While my family clearly saw my coin obsession as a "sickness," but at least they were nice enough to support it:).
Too bad I didn't graduate in 1999 - that set is worth a little more!
Thanks for posting Sk8er722!
