Hi again, Here is a better picture of the coin I posted last night.
Is the brass plated still more yellow ?

Yes. That is one. I've found a few of the 1997 examples in circulation. But looks like one on the 1996. Put in a 2X2 to keep finger prints off of it. The plating get discolored like the coin on the right with each set of finger prints passing over it. (Always handle coins you wish to keep by the edges to prevent the ruin for life fingerprints. Also was hands before/while touching coins. The washing will remove the salts and other contaminates that can ruin coins in time.)

How can these be confirmed to be a mint error? If you zinc plate and heat a penny you get the same effect:

I didn't know this was an error, I have 3 or 4....most are 83's and one another date. I saved them for no good reason and I'll have to dig them out of my odd roll finds
