The U.S. Mint has set the 2011 Proof Sets at $31.95 each. and according to their product schedule the same price of $31.95 for Uncirculated Sets to be released on February 8, 2011. Is this correct? Thanks.

Where are you getting your info? I've checked a couple of sources and the 2011 UNC set price was hinted at in a press release that was lower than the PROOF set. The UNC price is not on the Mint site as of yet. I'll keep looking.

You're not confusing 2010 Proof Set prices with 2011 Proof Set prices are you?

I have a subscription and the schedule for 2011 shows $31.95 for uncirculated and e-mail from U.S. Mint shows $31.95 for proof. I want to verify before I cancel my uncirculated sets. Thanks.

That is correct...Mint sets and clad proof sets are $31.95 each. I got both notifications from the mint.

you get twice as many coins in the mint set as the proof set but that does seem high....I think the demand for the 2009 & 2010 sets was good and they've set their expectations pretty high. But, the 2009 had 4 different designs for the cent and 2010 had the new shield cent...what's so special this year? anything?

The 2011 mint and proof sets are the same price as 2010. They are some of the few things that didn't increase in price. The silver proof set is going up $11 to $67.95. The quarter rolls are going up $7 to $39.95.

The only new thing would be the new look to the Native American dollar coin.
