dbrablec Pillar of the Community United States 1944 Posts	Posted 01/15/2011 2:07 pm im not sure what this is. it looks like it may be a chip, near the mint mark. it is about the shape of the inside of the "d" mint mark. opinions are appreciated. coppercoins Pillar of the Community United States 7629 Posts	Posted 01/15/2011 7:13 pm I had a die variety expert send a coin to me one time that he thought was something major with the mintmark. I stuck it under a higher power scope to get a closer look, and it was just a fleck of metal in the mintmark. It happens to all of us at one point or another. Report this Post to the Staff
