That place looks like any other site that sells the stuff nobody really wants. Sure for new collectors it might look great, but after a while of being exposed to coin shops and shows and coin clubs and great places like CCF we learn those neat old coins are pretty darn common and fairly easy to acquire for even a lot less. Any coin that is going to be worthwhile and at a bargain price is one you'll generally have to work for. Either by looking through many coins and/or by spending a lot of time learning about what makes a better coin different and more valuable than a common one that will always be available. If it has a fancy web page and sounds like a great deal, that's just good marketing sometimes. It's to get people to buy their stuff.

If the grading is accurate, their prices look very good. I'm always hesitant to buy Morgan dollars without photos, however since coin shops chronically overgrade.

Never buy a coin sight unseen. No matter how good the price seems, you'll be disappointed.

Think of this. Your wouldn't buy a car site unseen would you? You wouldn't marry someone without seeing them. You wouldn't buy a house site unseen. Be smart. Don't buy site unseen.

all of this is sound advice but I have to say there are one or two dealers that I would buy site unseen from and have before but I have bought from them before and I actually think they undergrade their coins. Also they offer a no questions asked return policy so if there is a disagreement you can send it back without question. I have also had them send me coins on approval before I ever paid on higher priced items. You just have to know your dealer I guess but in most cases the advice given above is correct

and I'll jump on Bryan's bandwagon here. I have one online dealer in particular that I trust to buy from site unseen. Now granted, the coins are not high value items (I collect common world coinage) but I have yet to be disappointed and on the one occasion where I didn't get what I anticipated, he made right immediately. needless to say, I've purchased more sine then.
On the other hand, from what I can tell about the areas a number of folks are into here, they are correct about buying those higher dollar, silver coins. it would be unwise to do so until you have at least established some sort of relationship with the dealer

I bought a large lot off from them on ebay recently. I have to say its one of my worst buy, short counted by about 10 coins, and mostly average with only a few series. The owner would give me a 10% discount next time if I decide to buy from them again, guess again.

I guess your right but even as you mentioned, one or two, and to me that is not really great odds. Not when you consider that there are thousands of dealers out there and trying to figure out which is which may end up costing to much at times. I've meet many daelers I wouldn't buy from even seeing their coins let alone sight unseen.
