2005 Error/Variety Teary- Eyed Nickel

thingee Pillar of the Community United States 2177 Posts	Posted 09/11/2006 6:50 pm Has anyone seen this type before? I've searched and I haven't been able to find this erroe/variety. What could have caused this? Image: IMG_2tear.jpg 24.88 KB I didn't download this properly. I'm new at downloading from my camera. I wasn't unble to download the pic of the entire coin, just the eye. I believe this error is called a gouge. The metal is not raised, it would be cool if it were. The is the first pic I've downloaded from my camera. It's a little blurry and I hope to improve.
