I thought every US Post Office had International Money Orders. if they dont you can probably get a western union Money order and it would be the same thing (not sure about the WU thing because I always go to the P.O. and get a international MO)

The Post Office has International Money Orders that you can send to Australia. You will need the Australian Dollars converted to US Dollars by going to an online converter and getting the rate. The exchange rate usually doesn't fluctuate that much, but you and the Australian might have to agree on a rate. If the Australian deposits the money order into their bank account, the bank converts it for them. That is what I did last time when I send a money order to Brisbane.

If you're buying the coin, get an agreed upon conversion rate, and just get an international money order.

I have never seen a PO that doesn't have international money orders. I live in a small hick town with close to 6000 people and our little hole in the wall PO has them. You just have to specify that you want a "International Money order" so they will not make a regular one for you (because they print them on their computers now not the old time hand jobs they used to use) and they will get very mad if you do not specify International before they print it out for you, they may even charge you for the regular MO and charge you again for the International MO. Not a real big deal because all you have to do is make the MO out to yourself and take it to the bank and cash it but still be sure to get it right the first time and you wont have that problem

PayPal is a good way to go. Also, any post office will sell International Money Orders.

No, if you are going to send money order to Australia, make sure the person knows he is going to get a money order. Any Australian bank will charge an extra 15AUD (if I remember right), so that will add to your cost factor or unless the person is more than happy to accept the cost factor. I have done this before so please kindly note that.

I am not too sure if the person whom you are planning to send the money to is willing to accept paypal and I had paypal issues trying to send money into my account, and ever since that event, I just decide to use whatever funds back into the system.

Sure thing, the person whom you want to pay to can simply refuse to accept paypal. However if this is urgent, I am more than happy to help you with the transaction. I do have a paypal account which I use quite regularly and since I live in Australia, I can make the payment to the person directly. Do let me know if you need help.
