wvyankee New Member United States 28 Posts	Posted 01/17/2011 10:29 pm Hello all. I am looking for an unusual piece of coal mining history. Early in the 1900's until sometime maybe in 1967, there was a Briquette plant in a little WV town called Berwind. I am trying to find a piece of scrip from that plant. I have been able to locate a picture of them, but have yet to find any. My best friend, my grandfather, who died in 2001 worked at this plant and I have been able to find a couple pieces of advertising from this plant and would love to get a piece of scrip for my collection. ExoGuy Pillar of the Community United States 4417 Posts	Posted 01/19/2011 09:13 am Have you tried setting an ebay search for this scrip? How about coin clubs and shows in that reion? When I was younger there used to be a flea market where everyone had these things and now, they seem to all but have vanished. In the immortal words of Bobby Boucher...the search continues.
