Looks like a lightly circulated piece in the AU53-55 range.

Thank you, folks. I had a bad enough time years ago before all of the numeric grading. Now, I'm completely lost. Dad's collection of gold coins is only 12 or 13 pieces so I'll not take up too much time - I promise!

I suppose this really goes to show I need to work on my photos! Word from NGC today says that the case for this one will have MS61 on it.

I'm not surprised; I don't think it had enough obvious wear to warrant less than 58. It's scuffy though.

ShadowCreator - Your comment about it looking a bit 'scruffy' got me to thinking that maybe using 14m resolution on the camera might be a wee bit much. I'll have to see how the photos come out on the next batch by toning that down.
