I am looking to buy some 2X2 cardboad holders. I looked at few dealers' website, they all have different prices. I think there are some different brands too. My question is: is there a brand/manufacturer makes better quality? I had seen some 2X2 doesn't line up equally(one side is longer than other).

Thanks!

If you can find a coin show you'll find them a lot cheaper. And no postage, handling, shipping fees either.
As to manufacturers, there are many or so it appears. I've noticed that many are sold in bulk quantities with no name on them. And too some of the cardboards are thicker than others, some don't line up perfectly when closed. On those plastic sheets that hold 20 of them I noticed too that some fit tight and some loose indicating the width is not always the same. A dealer at a coin show were I usually get mine told me he gets his from several different places pending on bulk costs. So naturally with different manufacturers there will be slight differences in sizes and quality.
I really don't know who the manufacturers are since when buying in bulk, I just get a block of them. And I suspect many are from Whitman since this dealer at the coin shows has many of them in those Red Cardboard boxes for 2x2's made by Whitman.
I get mine for $0.025 each when I buy 100. And no postage, handling, shipping fees either. Coin shows are great.

I like the Cowens brand for long term quality, but in my experience all of them have been adequate. I usually get them at coin shows as just carl has suggested.

I wait until I need a bunch of stuff and buy them on line. The last two shows I attended, Baltimore and Virginia Beach, wanted too much money for the flips. I only looked at three dealers, then stopped looking because I thought all three were high.

I paid 2.5 cents at the F.U.N. show but pay 5.0 at the local coin shop.

I agree, coin shows. I like the quarter size ones and house nickels, dimes, and cents in those as well. I usually buy quarter size in 100 bunches.

I've bought in the past from Brent-Krueger and have been very pleased with the quality. I will have to check out the prices at the upcoming coin show in Madison & see how the prices compare. I wasn't aware that the coin show ones were significantly cheaper.

(It seems like I learn something every time I come out to the CCF)
