If you can find a coin show you'll find them a lot cheaper. And no postage, handling, shipping fees either.
As to manufacturers, there are many or so it appears. I've noticed that many are sold in bulk quantities with no name on them. And too some of the cardboards are thicker than others, some don't line up perfectly when closed. On those plastic sheets that hold 20 of them I noticed too that some fit tight and some loose indicating the width is not always the same. A dealer at a coin show were I usually get mine told me he gets his from several different places pending on bulk costs. So naturally with different manufacturers there will be slight differences in sizes and quality.
I really don't know who the manufacturers are since when buying in bulk, I just get a block of them. And I suspect many are from Whitman since this dealer at the coin shows has many of them in those Red Cardboard boxes for 2x2's made by Whitman.
I get mine for $0.025 each when I buy 100. And no postage, handling, shipping fees either. Coin shows are great.
