You can soaked it in olive oil for about 1 day.
Then in water for 2 hours.

These are often referred to as 'fallen horsemen' rather than the correct translation that echizento has given.

There are many slightly different types but all basically show a Roman soldier or the Emperor killing a falling horseman / soldier. Its an example of an early form propaganda on coins.

Coins were the Roman form of a newspaper for the Empire.

They also had their own form of tear gas. An onion on a spear. (Apologies to Stan Freberg - Blood on my Toga)

Both the coin posted by Thomcollects and the coin posted by t0rress are of Constantius II, not Constantine II - the emperor's name ends in ...TIVS, not ...TINVS.
