Need-Help-:-Mint-Process-Vs-Bad-Cleaning-Triceratops-2008

Need-Help-:-Mint-Process-Vs-Bad-Cleaning-Triceratops-2008Hello,

I´m a new user,

I purchase a new coin " 2008 Canada Triceratops 4$", this coin is from The Royal Canadian Mint.
99.99% pure silver
Finish proof (with selective aging effect on the reverse)
I hope you give me your opinion on that spot.
The stain is original or a defect, or has been badly handled.
It looks like a spot outside the currency, perhaps for some cleaning product, I do not know.
Can you give me your opinion, please. Thanks.

Your help is much appreciate.
King Regards,
Javier

New user,

Something is definitely wrong. Of all the coins in this series, yours pales in comparison. Maybe due to the camera angle but the selective finish is normally a lot darker and even throughout the surface. In fact it has been my impression that the finish is so dark that I can't see any of the details. The spots and blemishes we see on you coin is a concern.

Did you buy it from the Mint?

No, I bought it on ebay, I have two of this coins, and this is the best, the other one has less details.
Thanks you for your help.
