And here is Mr Lincoln... This coin is ultra lusterous and was very difficult to photograph and retain everything even with muted contrast.

Another lovely classic silver commemorative.

Net mintage was 100,000 coins and they were all distributed at the original cost of $1. Designed by John R. Sinnock who had a hand in many other mint ventures of that time.

i say your lovely MS example suffers for the assorted bag hits and poor handling that characterize this coin .... I grade as MS63 from the photos but could be higher.

Could you tell me please,where did you get this information and what's with a distributed prise of others commemorative half dollar until 1982,was it 1$ for every one?

lex look here http://www.coincommunity.com/commem...e_histories/ for some reason the licoln aint listed but I did find out my Roanoke sold for 1.65
thats a bit cheaper than what I paid for it
