I agree, VG-8 is about right. This coin is a good match for that grade description in the PCGS grading guide. Looks original, with no obvious signs of cleaning or abuse.

That's a strong VG8, much closer to VG10 than G06. The 1904-S is a slightly better date making this a $35 piece.
