I got this in my change from lunch today. I know it's a RADAR, but what else is it? is it a Bookend also? what about the "T" word? Any idea of the value to a collector? it's been circulated and folded and there is a really small tear, maybe 1/16th of an inch at the top of the note above the "F" of FEDERAL RESERVE

I didn't post a link because I wasn't sure if it was against forum policy or not to advertise an ebay auction. I read the rules and am still not sure...

when you sell a note on ebay, how do you ship? what protective measures do you take to ensure the bill isn't damaged in transport?

I have a friend who sells on ebay, and he either sandwiches the note between two heavy pieces of cardboard and encloses in manila envelope, or sometimes sends in a small flat rate box available at the post office.

Quote: Check this one out.... is it real or fake? Seems too good to be true. Obviously fake... And when I ship I put the note in Mylar holder sandwiched between cardboard in a manila envelope and mark it fragile do not bend. I add insurance depending on the value. I see people ship notes in crazy ways. One of my least favorite is when someone places the note in an envelope with a few of those Styrofoam peanuts. As pressure is added to the note (during shipping at the bottom of a pile of mail) it warps the note. Very frustrating. Another is just sticking a note in a regular white envelope and shipping without protection. The mail carrier then folds the envelope to fit it in the mail box because it doesn't say not to. That actually happened to me once with a slabbed note. I was a bit angry and rented a new box large enough so even the largest envelope will fit in w/o bending.

Alas, my radar is stuck with me as it didn't sell even though it is a tranny... erm, I mean tricycle, no wait, triceratops... what the heck is that T word again? But that is OK because my flipper sold for almost $40.
