Years ago one of my employees brought me a note he suspected was counterfeit. He handed me a very nice silver certificate. As I looked at it the thing that amazed me the most was the 15 or so yellow pen mark on it both front and back. He was very proud of himself for checking it so thoroughly, but was confused about how a fake could show as real every time he marked it.
