alganbagerap Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 2490 Posts	Posted 01/25/2011 07:13 am I was starting to put up Iraqi Fils for sale offering as usual, worldwide shipping and visibility when this message popped up: " Attention Sellers You are not permitted to offer shipping to Germany (this includes worldwide or EU) for this item. Please revise your listing to domestic-only or other non-Germany shipping options." O.K. so I don't understand, but I comply and list Germany as an exclusion. And guess what. See above message.Again. Sap Moderator Australia 16826 Posts	Posted 01/25/2011 5:36 pm The only thing that occurs to me is ebay Germany's ban on selling antiquities and cultural artefacts from Iraq; translation of ebay Germany help page on the subject. Apparently Germany is a major clearing-house for looted and stolen artefacts from Iraq and ebay Germany has these rules in place to try to do their part to stop it. I suspect something in the wording of your listing and/or your choice of listing category has made ebay's robots think that's what you were trying to sell; perhaps because "fils" is very close to "fals", the name of mediaeval Iraqi copper coins. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis Report this Post to the Staff
