Looks like I finally found a winner. I have a group of 50 or "special" ones I've set aside for a closer look, but this one doesn't need a closer look. Sorry for the sloppy pics.

So...what now? Anything I need to do to this to preserve it? I know its not a super high dollar coin, but its my first.

P.S. Looks like theres a bit of a plating issue on the reverse on the top of the word "united". Does that hurt the value much?

Nice one. Definitely the Wide AM and yours is in great shape! I don't think the plating issue looks too bad and I would do nothing to it except put it in an airtight:)!

Well done!

Nice! Congrats. I just 2X2 them, but since this is your first you could always acrylic slab it with a note on top that says:"FIRST".

Very nice!

It's always cool when you know beyond a shadow of a doubt and don't have to ask, isn't it?

That one is clear as a bell! Since the reverse is not damage, should not hurt value.

thanks for the comments...so, as you can tell, this coin has AU type details, but some issues as well...some little spots and marks here and there. Anything to do to improve those, or just leave it as is......? What exactly is the technique for the acetone wash? Could that help? Also, as far as value, a similar coin on this board was called a "10 dollar coin"...seem about right for this one?
