I was gone most of the day at a charge audit and when I returned to my office there were two small piles of coins on my desk. One pile was from Peru and the other was from Ecuador. Very nice coins, most of them looked uncirculated or close to it. I always tell my friends that when they travel ask at the bank for uncirculated coins but of course I'll be grateful for whatever I get. So, I ask my secretary who left the coins and she had no idea. I assumed it must have been an employee whose husband traveled to South America on business a couple of months ago. I went to see her and thanked her for the coins but she didn't leave them and by the way she says I have some coins for you from Brazil in her bag that I've been meaning to give you. So, now I'm guessing it is another co-worker and I go and thank her and she wasn't the right person but you guessed it, she had some coins from Belize in her locker she was meaning to give me. Shortly after that a person from another department stopped by to see if I liked the coins she dropped off. So, yesterday was a nice day for me.
