I got a NGC MS69 2010 Nat. Pk. Qtr. silver set today and I think somebody messed up.the slab looks like it has white whatever marks on the inside,a sneeze and the obverse field looks like a really bad polish, there are also what I call scuff marks/blemishes.This is not the 1st time I've seen this problem,I have 30 days to return them and I will.I want a replacement set that deserves a 69 grade.

My ? is why/how can a coin be graded and in such poor condition,do they not have quality control or have standards been loosened? I can see the marks with my failing eye site, can't they? I hope I'm the only 1 that has had this problem, but I fear I'm not. gasman96

My thoughts are: Time is money. The more coins they slab, the more money they make.

Are you sure those problems you mentioned are on the slab and not the coins?

the sneezes are on the inside of the slab, the scuff marks are definitely on the coins so is the not so polished look. gasman

Remember there are more than one person working in those places and not all of them are rocket scientist you know. The one that grded yours might have had a fight with his wife right before he got to your coin.
Or they started a 100 point system so your MS-66 is way down now.
Or the person that graded your coin just sneezed and right on your coin.
As you said your going to return it so just accept that you can do something about this. People that get stuff like that on ebay find many times no returns. Just curious. Do you have to pay for postage to return?

I would send it back and make them pay for the postage.

Send it back... People need to be held accountable. Checks and balances.
