Not sure if this is a doubled die or Die Deterioration.

But, found it interesting because dies tend to deteriorate towards the rim, not inward like this.

Any thoughts?

It looks to be an unusual case of Die Deterioration Doubling. A doubled die would not show a radial pattern of doubling or doubling in two opposing directions.
Error coin writer and researcher.

My gut told me deterioration, but I thought dies deteriorated toward the rim.
