Hi all!

I went to an indoor flea market looking for some coins. I came across a cent marked "double Thumb". I took out my magnifier and checked it out. Did not see a Double thumb. I hope that maybe someone can show me what it is that I'm looking for. I had not heard of this error, so was kind of interested.

I noticed this seller had quite a few mismarked coins in his display. Thanks for any info you can give!

First of all, they are varieties not errors.

Second of all, if you go to coppercoins.com and do a variety search for 2009, you will find about 1.02E023 different varieties!

There are only a few that I look out for, 2009P-1DR-002, 2009P-1DR-012,
2009P-1DR-014, and 2009P-1DR-017. These are the stronger "creepy finger" varieties that I like. The rest I keep if I find them, but those are the main ones I look for.

I'll have to go back and check it again if it's still there. I thought that I had looked it over pretty good, but now I don't know.

I found 16 different DDR's for lp2 plus 3 not listed on coppercoins. If I got everything attributed right. Lol. Also 2 for lp3. All from bank boxes
