I was going through some rolled pennies and came across this. Looks like a good double. I hope the pic shows the detail, you can easily see another D coming off the bottom right. I am going to play with it some and try to get a better picture. Nice find for going through some rolls from the bank.

Looks like a gas bubble forming an area of split plating on the coin which resulted in the bulge. It's not a repunched mintmark.

Hard to tell by that pic, but the "bump" looks like a plating issue. Very common on the zincolns. A close up of the MM would help a lot.

Yeah the picture does not show up well, but looking with a jewlers loop you can see the front half of a D } coming off the mint mark. I tried to scan a better pic but it will not let me upload the one with more detail. There is a gap between the two that barely shows up on this pic and the shadows hide the lines of the second D. I will take it to my coin guy to make sure.
