I have this 1938 Penny and to me it looks like it got stuck or was not ejected properly from the press/die. Unique find for sure. Any help on this would be appreciated. Here are some photos, I will try to take better ones here soon.

A little hard to tell from the photo's, they are a little blurry. Are you able to rule out post mint damage such as a scratch that moved some of the copper around. And is that a scratch or a die break behind George's head on the obverse?

No error, just a severely damaged coin
