Last week I stumbled across someone on ebay selling a Canadian large cent collection of 18 coins as a "buy it now' for $15, so I did. They arrived today and I'm very pleased. Altho I had a few from before, now I'm really into the large cents. Getting almost half of them in one swoop makes it easy.

It never ends, does it?

About seven years ago I came across a whitman folder of large Canadian Cents at a flew market in the United States. It was a complete full book. It had no price. I asked how. much he wanted for it. He told me make an offer. I opened up my wallet and showed him all US funds I had which were $40. He said Its a deal. He wanted to sell it for a while but nobody wanted it. What a deal I got. It had the rare 1858 and many of the coins were high grade, XF and AU. I just love the large cents. They are one of the nicest coins to collect.

No.. it doesn't, Ken...that's a good buy on the Large Cents.

Tell us a few dates, and grades when you have a chance.

I'm not very good at coin photography, so I laid then out on my scanner. It's a big picture (2.2mb) and can be blown up to very large size. Hopefully you can tell the condition of the coins that way. Sorry for the cat hair in the photo.

The 1859 is the most worn. They're not in AU condition but the price was right.

Also the seller had a small cent collection I bought in a Whitman folder copyrighted 1950. It contained coins 1920-1965, some BU red. Missing are 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 30, 35, but there were extras of some from the 20's and 30's. Bought that for $5.

That's a good pickup for $15.00... the 1907H is sort of a semi-key.

ummm.. It seems I have seen that 1918 before..
