OK I found this today. Looks like an RPM to me, but I cannot confirm with any of the die markers on coppercoins or in CONECA master list.
No die chips on 10 or 11. No die scratches in the proper places.

For something like this the images would have to be a lot closer and a lot clearer. I cannot tell for sure what you have with the images provided.

Thanks for taking a look at it C.D., unfortunately after 6 tries that is the closest and clearest I can get with my current equipment. I will just sock it away until I can get my hands on some better equipment.

Not sure if this helps or not coppercoins. Made the Mint Mark as large as I could without losing to much of the rich detail. The software I use is limited but gave it a shot. :)

I think it is still hard to tell much. There is a plating issue it seems but I can not tell if there is part of another D from under the south/southeast curve of the MM or if it is just where the plating split.

It's an issue specifically with the angle of lighting and the ever so slightest lack of detail due to resolution loss that make it really impossible to tell for sure what's going on with the coin. It 'could' be an RPM, but it could also be split plating or Machine Doubling - I just cannot tell.

Ya that's my fault. I can't really change the lighting since I used a scanner and the lid has to be closed. It can just gather dust for a bit while I put together something that may work. Of course it won't be as rockin as coop's set up but with a little time and DIY, I might be able to get some better pics. Thanks Chuck for your always awesome opinion and thanks cladhunter for trying to zoom in on it. No biggie. I have plenty more to look through.

Yup that's always a big issue - scanners. They never work right to bring the detail out in coins because you cannot control the lighting. I always tell people - cameras were made for 3D things like coins, and scanners were made for 2D things like paper money. If you do both, you need both. Scanners are crappy with coins, and cameras don't do a good job with paper money.

No worries ebm. I figured I would give it a try. Happy hunting.
