Hello,

Does the location of the S mint mark on this particular year of Lincoln cents cause the coin to be more collectible compared to the more conventional mint mark location?

Or are both of these two mint mark locations considered to be within the norm or acceptability?

If one is out of tolerance, does it then become more collectible etc.

Thanks

The tolerance range is pretty big, so unless it is touching the date, rim ,or bust...I would say no premium.
Rest in Peace

Mintmarks were placed into ALL dies by hand until 1990. Variations can be seen on all years and mints until then.

To date NOT ONE SINGLE Lincoln Cent has ever commanded a premium value because of the placement of the primary mintmark.
