Evening all,

Well, the gold is off to NGC and I will let you know the results so you can see what they say.

This is one of the first of the rest of the American collection - that seems to be worth the time to run by you folks.

Looks like VG-8. Appears to be cleaned, but that may just be the lighting. A few light rim nicks on the lower obverse, but not too bad.

VG...not sure if it would slab due to cleaning (but then again most Seated dollars are cleaned and many slab!) and the rim hit.
