Only noticed the date after blowing it up for the possible RPM.

Well, HoosierDaddy, you are 1 for 2.

This is an example of strike or Machine Doubling. Note the shelf like doubling on the mint mark, and also the date. Not an RPM in this case, sorry.

Thanks..that is what I was thinking...the thing is..there is no other doubling on the obverse. It's still neat-o!

Anyone collect these....I can set it aside or it will go into the copper pile.
