I hate to necro a thread but I actually have one of the gold plated square hole coin. I have no idea about the background of it so if anyone knows, that would be appreciated. Also, what guide has the GP one listed? The one I have (Charlton coin guide) does not list a GP version at all.

I will see if I have time to upload a picture of it tonight.

Bought mine from Colonial coin and it is pure silver, not gold plated.
Which one more valuable and more expensive?

As far as I know the only official one is the silver one, maybe someone in the aftermarket gold plated some of them.

Unfortunately, the COA is exactly the same as the silver one. The sticker on the black sleeve is also the same.

I'm pretty sure it's just gold plated on the aftermarket.

Hi Taro

Where can I get the gold one? And what is the price?
I want to make a set 1 gold and 1 silver.

Thanks

Is it gold plated or .9999 gold?
Not interested if it is just gold plate.

Very slim possibility that it's an Asian market only coin but if that were the case, I'd think the COA and packaging would be different.

@taro-chan, how did you acquire the coin? That might give us some idea where it was GP'ed.
