I'm not a bill collector. Just got this serial in change. Bill is crisp no folds. What is this called? Does it carry a premium?

Pretty cool! I believe that is a binary radar note. Binary because only two digits are involved and radar because the number reads the same backwards and forwards.

They are collectible, but I wouldn't even pretend to know what kind of a value to put on it. I wouldn't quit my day job, but I'm sure it's worth more than a dollar!

Someone more knowledgeable will chime in soon.

I'm sure they will want to know more info like the year and things of that nature.

And shouldn't long before someone says .

There are radar notes that are JUST radars, like 12522521. Then there are radar ladders 12344321, then radar repeater 49944994, and one like your with bookends. As has been pointed out it is also a binary so your note is a cool serial for a few reasons. Since it is also virtually uncirculated it is a keeper for sure.

And good call to go back and get it.

That's also considered a bookend?

Your note should fetch something in the range of $35.00 to $60.00. Check this web page for similar notes http://www.iccurrency.com/fs_radar.htm. It's a page I found while trying to find out values for the fancy number notes I have which I am going to sell.

What is it called? I think it is a binary radar note. Making it probably almost twice as valuable as a radar.
