I have a few coins that were found with a metaldetector, I know some of the denominations... but I would like to know the dates for identification. I looked at them for a while now, but I still don't know for sure... so I would like to hear some second opinions so to speak Anyone who thinks they know please share your views.

I can say what I think, but I would not like to influence your perceptions, so I will post it after some comments. I tried to make some pictures with various light perspectives to show some more detail...

Well guys I really appreciate the help, and if it might be either of the 2 dates you might indeed win something These were dates I was thinking about too, however the issue is that both dates would be very very very weird and virtually impossible!

Since the first Dutch Half Cents were minted in 1818 and it says in the official guide... very rare, and are worth €20.000/€30.000 (only a few samples were minted!)
And well the 1817 couldn't be, since the coins were not minted then..

But again, these dates came too mind also.... although I Highly doubt it ofcourse. I guess I will never know since they are really busted

Is there maybe a way to clean these, or "restore" the date I never cleaned any coin since it is pretty much taboo... but maybe it's worth giving these a proper bath with some chemical mixture?

All comments are welcome

Have you tried soaking them in Olive Oil for a while, maybe just getting a little bit more of the coin exposed might help.
Dont know if that really will reveal anything more if it is not there to be revealed.
I also use a scanner at the highest possible resolution, sometimes I can see little bit of details that you otherwise miss.

From what I think it looks like one of these.
km#51 1/2 Cent (1818-1837)

I'd say 1817 (on the left) and 1841 (on the right). The reason I believe it's 7 and not 8 because it's very different from the 8 in the hundredth position. The 8 consists of two circles sitting one on top of the other, while the digit in question shows crossing close to perpendicular. I think it's just a corroded 7.
