It's Machine Doubling. A few rules...

1. If it takes up part of the normal profile of how thick a letter or number SHOULD be - it's Machine Doubling.

2. If it LOOKS like the letters or numbers were sheared - scooted off to one side - it's Machine Doubling.

3. If the 'doubling' LOOKS like it was flattened down to be what it is - it's Machine Doubling.

4. If it is missing 'character' - if it has no notching - it's Machine Doubling.
