I think it is a good idea to assume there is a problem with a coin any time you see the word details in its ebay title.

Those aren't great photos, but it looks like it has been over dipped or whizzed. There doesn't appear to be any natural luster remaining on it so I would stay away from that one.

I agree...but it's not limited to ebay..any time you see "details" it usually means a problem coin...if you like it, then fine, just don't expect an original.

it looks like it has been polished, I have seen polished coins have that appearance

I agree, it looks like it has been polished which makes it look proof like. I would stay away unless you want it just for bullion, but then you should only pay the price it's worth in silver.

anybody know why it has that rough look on the head of the obverse? is this just the way some of them were struck of is that PMD?
