In 1993 the mint issued a World Was II 3 coin set.
All the coins were dated 1991 - 1995 for the 50 year
anniversary of the U.S. involvement in the war
But the 3 coins are a half dollar, dollar and a five dollar gold.
They had a proof and uncirculated version. The five dollar gold coins
have the "W" mint mark the others have "S"
The commemorative 3 coins sets that I know of are always set up like that, half dollar, dollar and 5 dollar gold.
The only sets I can think of that have two half dollars are prestige sets.
They would have the the commemorative dollar and half dollar along with the
Kennedy half dollar and the cent through quarter .. all in proof.
But the 1993 prestige set had Madison coins and the 1995 had the civil war coins.
