Poll Question
Tell me this forum....
Which would you rather find while roll searching or just while going through your spare change?

depends on condition to me. Although the S VDB is most expensive. An XF 1909 S Indian is about the same price as a G4 S VDB. In those terms, I'd take an XF 1909 S Indian.
Or I guess I'd say go ahead and let me find a G4 S VDB and I'd trade it for an XF 1909 S Indian

Hmmmmmm, I've never found an IHC before but, with all the money from the S VDB I could buy a lot of IHC's. I'd rather get the IHC just because of the shock value I would get from seeing a face other than Lincoln's.

I'm a HUGE IHC fan but in this case, 09-S VDB.

I voted for the injun because I still need that one for my Dansco, I already have the VDB.

For purely financial gain, the SVDB, but I voted for the 09-S Indian. It has a lower mintage and they are tougher to obtain than the SVDB...plus I already have an SVDB.

The Indian head is more rare than the s vdb...but the s vdb gets all the press and is more famous!! I really think the value on the Indian Head cent should be alot higher.

ok this being my poll I'll put my Two Cents in.... I think personally i'd like to find the 09S-VDB. Since getting into coins I've found that most of my attention seems to fall on the ol' wheaties. I have already dwindled my collection down to only needing the semi-keys and keys and a hand full of others. So to add the 09S-VDB to my collection would just be all the more better IMO.

I voted for the Indian Head, just because of the improbability of it. A 09-S Lincoln could actually be possible. With Indian Heads, you might get a common one with every $500 or so in pennies while roll-searching. I would like to see the odds of either happening, no matter how slim. But call me naive, or ignorant, I believe.

Quote: Ricardocody: I think (it's) still possible to find! More than a million-to-one shot, but if the Lincoln 1909 S-VDB was resting obverse up, in an inattentive cashier's drawer...

I voted for the Indian head too Darth! On the Indian head they only minted 309,000...the s vdb they minted 484,000!! I would rather have the Indian Head cent, because according to some people on here you can find the s vdb at the gas station...so that makes them very common!

I voted for the 09S VDB. I wont be getting my hands on one anytime soon due to price, whereas the 09 Indian I could afford. Really do wonder why the price difference is there though, almost seems it should be vice versa.

It SVDB is vastly more popular, one of the best known valuable coins if not the best known. Supply and demand, SVDB wins even though the Indian is rarer. I see SVDB's for sale all the time, they are plentiful, but I don't see an 09-S Indian often.

S VDB is more expensive because of how vastly popular the Lincoln Cent is. Way more people collect lincoln's than IH's.

I wouldn't be upset finding either one, but I do have a hole to fill in my Lincoln album, so ill pass on the IHC this time.
