have 2 old coins, I think from Germany and/or Austria. I got these with some other coins that were found with a metaldetector, so they are pretty bruised up...

2 Pfennig, 1858 A - Germany, (180 Einen Thaler) but from what state?

The 2 pfenninge of 1858 are issued by the Kingdom of Prussia (KM#452).

I believe the 1/2 kreuzer comes from Hesse-Cassel, regional coinage for Ober-Hessen. It could be KM#551
