Ive been looking online for investing in precious metals. Currently I am keeping my eye out for a good price on a gauden double eagle. But I have been intested in buying silver too... I ran into these deals, and I am not sure if I can justify them. And I always value the opinion of those here!

The coins were "bulk graded" by NGC to be
Brilliant Uncirculated

and he is asking 400$ for them.

but these usually sell online for 34$ a piece or so do they not?
thanks!

*EDIT*
Another note
(Sorry I do not see an edit button)

I had another thing I found, but the guy didnt like my offer, haha.

Another thing I was interested in was buying a roll of silver eagles (20) or so if I can find a decent deal. Partly for investing, and partly because I like coins!

thanks!

I think the 400 is a little steep, actually really steep. A Brilliant Uncirculated coin is usually MS-60-MS-62 and Choice BU is MS-63-MS-64 and Gem BU is MS-65 and above. So any time you see Brilliant Uncirculated you can just guess its a MS-61 and price it accordingly

dont buy it for higher price. Just have patience and keep your mind open for all opportunities. You will get the desired coin one day or the other.

Chance favors the prepared mind.

Decide whether you're investing in silver or coins. If you're investing in silver, there's no reason to buy slobbed dollars at a premium.

Counter-offer? Maybe the coins won't sell at $400. If he needs the cash, maybe he'll accept say $340 or maybe even a trade!
