Thanks for the correction Coppercoins. I don't deal with "modern" proofs much so please excuse my ignorance. Good luck on this purchase no matter what.

I have a feeling you already know the answer to this one as well.

You know the product, you know the seller, you know the market...hence you know the answer!

What was the first number that popped into your mind? That's probably it.

In my experience proof rolls are subpar, lower grade coins.

In todays market "subpar" is PF-68.

I was thinking that current year would be running retail around $3 -$4 per coin. Wholesale about 70% of that or $2.10 - $2.80 per coin or between $105 and $140 per roll. I'd see if he would bite somewhere close to the lower end of that range. Which is about what you can up with as well. If it was late in the year I would be tempted to go lower because they are at their most marketable while they are still current. Next year everyone would be chasing 2012 coins and 2011 coins would have a lower demand.

That would be a good deal for a P-D-S set for $5...

Since you're sure the coins aren't impared Chuck, I agree with Conder. You're not a collector and I imagine you just want to resell them. IMO, you should obtain wholesale pricing as would any dealer.

Conder - Yes, 68 is low... until the fields become bag marked. I've seen it on many proof rolls. Perhaps Chuck's source has these in individual holders and "roll" is a euphemism. That would add a premium.

Nope...they'll be packed in tubes. Same way I got my 2010-S rolls...and those coins were fine.

I've offered $100 per roll and will see what happens from there. I'm pretty sure he'll send them at that and will include the shipping.

Sounds fair to me. Hey, you probably consult/advise the seller on occassion so a good deal is order.

I'll know in a week or so. With all the other business we have going on, this is pretty low priority.
