Do other countries have albums or folders for their coins?
I have always wondered about this. If I were to go into a coin shop, if they actually exist, in lets say, India. Would they have albums for their coins too? What about Germany? What about Brazil? Etc.?
How if you live in a country where it isn't as popular to collect coins in lets say other major areas of the world do you collect your coins?

Do Australian coin albums look similar to Whitman, Dansco, Littleton, etc., coin albums produced in America? Whereas they are made for each denomination and or type and have the years printed on them? What about Great Britain, New Zealand, France, Germany, Denmark, Spain, etc.,? Do each of these countries have albums/folders for coin collectors to put their coins in? I guess this subject came to me from another thread about an old Victorian type set from an old Whitman folder and didn't know that Whitman made folders for the UK. I have since seen other similar albums for the UK made by Whitman, 6p etc. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have seen the Optima coin album when searching info on Google but those are like the Harco album pages or the Gardmaster Canadian albums (great albums by the way) where they are just slide ins with no date and or specific sizes.

Irishradier - I saw a Dansco album for Aussie coins in a coin shop here, but it was way overpriced. 65 bucks for a single set of coins, i.e. 1 cent, 2 cents, etc. That's excessive!

Dansco do sell them. If you take a look at Bigfella's site (www.newcastlecoins.com.au) he's selling them for about AUD$22. No idea if they look like whitman folders as I dont know what whitman folders look like.

Whitman makes (or made) them too. This one for Aussie sixpences belongs to a friend of mine in the coin club - I don't know how old it is: The little paper insert in the album says that at the time, Whitmans were available for Canada, Newfoundland, Great Britain, Mexico and Australia. The album was made in the USA.

Also IrishRaider You Can order them custom From Dansco with the printing and your specified size per coin . but I don't believe it would be very cost effective at least a little more than the average Dansco's which are not cheap

I just ended up with alot of British 6p from some world bags I bought from Kuhli and another person and thought they would look nice in a folder or album like the ones we use for our coins. I have seen some on ebay for sale, most from the UK actually but by the time you win it and ship it they are around $10 US and we can get them for $3 here. I will also check with my 2 local shops and see what they say. Thanks for the info you guys. I appreciate it.
